Dish Washer Detergent

These are the ingredients you need: Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda, Borax, Salt, and 4 packets of unsweetend lemonade koolaid. (Other flavors koolaids stain your dishwasher.

Add 1 cup of washing soda
add 1 cup of borax
add 1/2 cup of salt
and 4 packets of koolaid packets. Put in a tight fitting jar and shake to mix.

i perfected this recipe by using lemishine as the rinse aid and the koolaid just for the smell. or you can cut the koolaid out all together! without the lemishine you get cloudy dishes, yuck! So that was my only fix! enjoy!!

add 4 tsp of homemade detergent to your dishwasher and put distiled white vinegar in your rinse aide! There you have it! And this lasted me 100 loads all under $2.00! Enjoy!

Homemade Garbage Disposal Cleaning Tabs

I found a recipe to make homemade garbage disposal cleaner! All you need is vinegar and lemons!
Slice your lemons and put a piece in each ice cube mold.

 Fill molds with vinegar

After they are frozen take out of molds, put in a ziplock bag and put in freezer and do all over again when you run out!! It works great!

Homemade Laundry Soap

I found this recipe for homemade laundry soap on pinterest, and i absolutely love it! It works wonderfully! And it all cost about $6.50 for 64 loads!! Yes you read that right!

All of these items i found in the laundry isle at your local grocery store.

The Parts

1 Cup Borax
1 1/2 Cups Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda (not to be confused with baking soda)
1 Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar Soap
Cheese grater

Initially purchasing these items will cost approximately $6.50 but you can make a bunch of batches with one box of each.

The Assembly

Grate the whole Fels-Naptha bar on the smallest grate size.

This is the step that takes the longest. It took me about 15 minutes of continuous grating to do the whole bar.

This is what it should look like when your finished.

Combine the super soda wash....

and Borax...

I use my mixing stand for many things. :) Run on low until evenly mixed. If you don't have a mixing stand you can simply use a whisk and bowl.

This is what it will look like when your finished. The smell is so fresh too!!

You want to store it in an air tight container. I made a small batch the first time to ensure it was something I liked and it fit nicely into a mason jar, plus you can give it a good shake each time to ensure the mixture is even. I plan on making a huge batch next time when I find a massive mason jar to store it in. :)

There you have it. Easy, right? Use 2 tablespoons in each load and put the soap in first to mix with the water. Without all the watering down and extra chemicals it doesn't take much to get your clothes clean. :) If you want you could even add a little tea tree oil to each load for a fresh smell and it is a natural disinfectant so it's great for cloth diapers and sweaty workout clothes!

Happy Washing! Remember to share with Friends and Family!!
