Bad Luck

Well our boat sank at this dock where we parked it and lucky enough there were people who kept it from sinking all the way, but putting a strap inderneath it. Water, gas and oil got all the up to the captains chair, so all the electronic stuff was ruined, the full tank was filled with water, our life jackets were luckily saved with a lot of dawn dish soap and water. We spent hours washing and getting as much oil and gas out of the interier and jackets as we could. The damage was the plug was completely ripped out, there were holes in the fiber glass that was old, but seemed to be part of the problem. We have it in the shop getting work done on it and getting things replaced, and lucky enough it was as bad as we thought it was going to be. Thank goodness we were not in the boat when it was sinking! Scary!
