Baby and Family Update

Well I had my doctors appointment friday instead of thursday because my mom and i had way too much going on! She had to work in the temple so i had to get the boys from school and my doc appointment was at 2:30 so i had to change it to friday morning at 11:15! I got there and did my blood work first...yuck, then the nurse came in with her handy machine where we could listen to the baby's heart beat. I had a stethescope and the nurse had one and we were both connected to the little box that was connected to the round part that they roll around on my belly, it was actually really weird, i'm used to the other ones where it is on speaker. But i guess my doc is pretty old school. Well it took 30 mintues to find the heart beat. It was the longest 30 mintues of my life. First i layed there for 15 mintues and the nurse couldn't find the heart beat and i started to freak out and started to cry, the nurse had me take a 5 minute break to get myself back together and she changed the subject to braiden then 5 minutes later she said "let's try again" I told her ok but if they couldn't find the heart beat i wanted to get an ultrasound immediately to see the baby, and she just nodded. I layed there for 15 more minutes and we finally heard it! It was a very strong heart beat! I was so happy! She said "You have a shy one in there!" and i laughed and i said, "i hope so, if i have another baby like my 2 year old son i think i might die! He never stopped moving in my belly, never stopped moving as a newborn, and still to this day never stops moving! Even in his sleep he is constantly moving!!!" She just laughed at me like i was over exagerating! We all know i'm not! Anyway it was very comforting to hear the baby's heart beat! I really hope in the next couple appointments my doctor will let me get a ultrasound to get a picture of the baby! that would be awesome! The only thing they were concerned about when i went in was my urine looked like it had bacteria in it like i was getting an infection, but the nurse said it might be because i have been nauseated and haven't had much to eat. Morning sickness is definately kicking me int he butt, i never felt any of this with braiden, i had the perfect pregnancy with him. I have lost 3 pounds because of being so sick, but my doctor gave me samples of a low dose for nausea and i took it last night and fell asleep and today i have had no nausea what-so-ever! It feels awesome to feel normal again!!!

We have some sick bugs going around. Everyone has been experiencing cold symptoms and let's just say a lot of people butts hurt! I have only gotten the cold symptoms and am finally getting over it. Josh is just now getting the cold symptoms, Braiden has the cold and a raw butt. Poor thing, but he has done very well on potty training, too bad it has taken him getting the poops for him to be potty trained. One night a couple nights ago, at about 4:30 - 5 am he had pooped and his butt was in the air, and his poo is pretty much liquid (gross i know but you gotta know what i had to go through) so it had leaked out of his diaper onto his pjs and all over his bed!!! So i smelt it and i woke him up to change him, of course he curls into a ball and grabs my neck and won't let me go and i get it all over my shirt. Yeah i was so grossed out and a little mad, I felt so bad for him he had no idea what was going on. Anyway, i have to change him and his clothes, my clothes, and our sheets before it leaked through to the mattresses. Josh was already gone for work so i did all of it by myself. One day Braiden had it so bad he went through 15 diapers in 5 hours. It was awful! But he is doing much better, the cold is starting to go away but the poor thing still has a raw butt.
