37 weeks/Doctor Appointment

I am 37 weeks and had my weekly doc appointment! Baby sounds great and according to the ultrasound she weighs about 5 1/2 pounds! She had a huge growth spurt the past week! I am doing well, I am tired as anyone woman would be! I have stretched to my limit! I am so itchy it's making me crazy! I am dilated more than 1cm but not quite 2cm. I am not effaced at all. But that will soon change! We are hoping to have her after Christmas but my doctor still predicts she'll come January 3rd. We are just waiting for her now! I am ready for her to come! We all want to meet her! That's all for now!!

Doc Appointment/36 Weeks Ultrasound

A week ago i went into the hospital because i was having contractions stronger than i have been having them and i was spotting a lot to where i had to wear something, and after spending all day there, it just happened to be false labor caused by an infection again... yay... so i was put on an antibioltic. They checked me and i was not dilated at all. then I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the doc checked me. I am dilated to a 1 but i am not effaced yet but i am soft, so it's just a matter of time! We are now in the waiting game! TessLea had shifted face up, but we are hoping she will turn on her own. I had to get an ultrasound to check her weight to make sure if i do go into labor she weighs enough to be healthy and i won't have to worry about her. The doc said she would be surprised if i go into labor within a week, and she hopes i don't go into labor the week after chrsitmas because she will be out of town (of course that's when i was hoping to have her, but its ok), but she does predict i will go January 3rd, so hopefully she didn't jinx me! I will be a very happy mommy if she comes at least a week early! That is all the info i have on the appointment yesterday.

Today i had the ultrasound! and Here are pictures that i got! TessLea has shifted to her side, so we got some adorable pictures of her sweet face! The first 3 pictures are the actual pictures, the last 3 i added descriptions of what everything is to help you see better! We are so excited for her to get here we can hardly stand it!

They are a recieving blanket and a onesie wrapped up like a cupcake! Such a cute idea!!!

33 weeks!

Ultrasound Pictures!

Here are pictures of the ultrasound i had today! I love my Doctor, She is so sweet! I told her about my terrible experience with my other ultrasound the the doctor i was seeing before her and how i went home with nothing! No pictures or anything! She gave me this ultrasound completely under the table because my insurance wouldn't cover a 2nd one, so i have pictures now! But the bad thing is, she is head down face down so we couldn't get a picture of her darling little face. I saw her little nose for a couple seconds but then she moved before we could snap a picture. Darn it! I edited the pictures on my computer showing what everything is so it is easier to find what the picture is of! Enjoy!

That's all we had time to get, but she looks beautiful! I can't wait until she is here! Ok let me reword this, I can't wait for the time to pass by to have her when she is suppose to be born! I would hate to have her too early and have her stuck in a hospital and me come home without her! my worst nightmare!! I love my Sweet Pea!

Help! I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up!!

I am blogging this for my journal purposes so sorry if you aren't interested in this, but it was kind of funny! I was at my mom's new house having dinner, and watching a college football game. Houston had a booger nose and i got a tissue, he saw me and ran! So i ran after him, stupid me, he came to a dead stop and i tried to stop on her slippery wood floors, but my socks had no grib and down i went!! i landed smack on my back! It hurt but i was ok, we all laughed and didn't think more of it! The rest isn't so funny but the next morning i went to the bathroom and noticed i was bleeding a little, it was reddish and figured it was just part of the pregnancy. i watched for more blood for the rest of the day and didn't get any, so i stopped worrying about it and just took it easy. I went to my Doctor's appointment and let her know what i did because the normal contractions i've been having had changed a little also. She put me on the monitor to montior TessLea's activity and my contractions. TessLea was asleep most of the 30 minutes i was hooked up, but her heart rate did what the doc wanted it to, so she is perfectly fine. My contractions were there constantly but not strong enough to admit me to the hospital, so they unhooked me and i had to do a pelvic exam to see if i was ok. The Doc says it looks like i had dislodged my plug from the fall on friday, so she put me on a temporary bedrest or "mini bedrest" for a week. I don't have to lay flat on my back in bed, but i can't be on my feet any longer than 2 hours at a time, and i have to elevate my feet when sitting. I can't pick up anything heavier than 15 pounds, so i haven't been able to pick up Houston. I can lift him to get him in his car seat, but i can't carry him around anymore, which i shouldn't be doing anyways. So that's is my little story! TessLea is measuring good, she's really low, and very active. Her heart sounds great nice and strong! I am feeling ok, besides the internal bruises and discomfort all the time, i am ok! Just happy my baby is ok and healthy! we will see how this week goes! So far i can still travel out of town for Thanksgiving so fingers crossed it stays that way!

30 weeks!

30 Weeks! 10 weeks and counting! I am so uncomfortable already i am afraid this is going to be a slow 10 weeks, but other than that i feel great! Glad my baby girl is healthy!!

27 Weeks

Here is my belly pic for 27 weeks! I can't believe how fast it is going! My Doctors appointment went well! TessLea is finally out of my back so my back doesn't hurt as bad! I saw a new doc and she will be my regular doctor until i deliver! i love her! she is so great! She is doing everything and more to make me happy! She is going to get me an ultrasound off the record to get me pictures of TessLea, so i will post those after i have it! TessLea is growing beautifully, She was concerned about my weight because i've only gained 4 pounds this whole pregnancy, but i told her about my mom with me and i am confident i will gain all my weight this last trimester! I eat all the time, i really have no explination why i haven't gained any weight! I am just glad it's all going to her! Besides that, she sounded great measured great and she is head down in the ready position! Now i can't weight until she get's here! Ok i can wait, longer but i hope it goes by fast!

Scare Me to Death!

So last night i thought for sure i was going into labor! I was going throughout my day as normal and i went to walmart with the kids after dinner, to get my groceries for the next week. We got home and the boys were wired, so i put in the movie cars. They were on the floor watching the movie and i decided to make some sugar cookies. The movie finished and i got the boys into bed and i started to feel little contractions but nothing too serious. I grabbed my pretty little liars book and laid in bed and read. The contractions got worse, and hard. i could hardly concentrate on my book so i put it down and started timing the contractions. They were lasting about 1 minute and they were about 7-10 minutes apart. I timed them for about an hour and they just kept getting worse. I couldn't even lay in bed i was so uncomfortable and in pain, so i stood up and leaned against the wall with my hands above my head. I literally felt like she was going to fall out! I decided to get in the shower, and just sit there and let the water hit my back. eventually they started to subside so i got out and laid in bed. I stopped feeling them about 3am. It scared me to death and i was very close to calling my mom to take me to the hospital, because Josh has been in Dallas for work. I can't tell you how many times i prayed to keep her in there and to make this all go away until it is really time for her to come out. I am feeling better now, haven't had any complications since. my body is sore from the hard contractions, but i am ok. i have been taking it easy. i have an appointment on monday to see what's going on. That's my update for now! Don't scare mommy anymore TessLea!!!

Sewing projects for TessLea

I have been going on a sewing frenzy and have made 3 dresses for my sweet pea and some cute felt boots! I am also hoping to finish sewing her bumpers for her crib!
