If you have a queezy stomach, do not read this post! There is a nasty picture of.... well you know! It's Potty Training!!!
Braiden runs and hides when he has to do #2, not sure why, but he does and this is what happens when you get busy doing something else and not paying attention where your 2 year old went....
He has an accident.... on the floor. Well first let me explain. Braiden is scared to go poo because he says it hurts everytime he goes. Which is pretty normal right? Well he doesn't like the way it makes him feel so after this incident i decided that he holds his poo and if you scroll down to the bottom of this post you will know what i mean...
Anyway... we found his accident and cleaned it up and explained to him that poo goes in the toilet and you flush it so it goes bye bye and it won't be ewww anymore.
He now understnads he cannot hold his poo, he needs to let it out in the toilet so it can be flushed bye bye.
Josh cracking up at the site! And Showing it off, I don't know why guys do that, but yeah.....
Showing Braiden where poo goes and how an flush it bye bye
Yeah..... on the floor byhis toys he took off his undies and went poo... This is why i think he held his poo because he didn't go for 3 whole days!!! That explains a lot doesn't it?! I swear this thing was as big as his leg! No joke! This is probably the only time i will ever take a picture of his poo, to explain the joys of potty training! And please don't even begin to ask me why it is the color it is.... i really don't know what he ate to make it that color... yuck
Well this is good journaling stuff so i never forget these fun, growing moments, so sorry if you are offended by my quite funny experience of potty training so far! Ihave more to come! Braiden's Potty Chart! I think he has done pretty good with how long we've been doing it! Well the Peeing he has done great... The pooing... well duh, that still needs a lot of work! He did go once in the potty only because i caught him hiding and grunting!
Here's how his rewarding goes:
1 mark = 1 piece of candy
3 marks = a $dollar$ (that was his agreement)
5 marks = a toy from the store or lunch with mom/dad
Accidents:
1= dollar taken away
3= toy taken away
5= can no longer play the Wii
So far it has worked out pretty well! Before we started taking stuff away for accidents because he just didn't want to go potty, he would purposly pee his pants, then when we started to do the punishment part he told me everytime he had potty, even at stores, and he only ended up having 1 accident a day and so far so good. If he has a true accident he is not punished for it.
