Miss Susie Horse died today. Very Sad. The poor thing has had a rough couple of months. January she had gotten out of the yard and she got hit by a car. She was all beat up and thought for sure she wasn't going to make it, but she pulled through and healed very nicely a month later. Then we bring Mom's new horse Miss Social (aka Soci) to meet her so they could be friends. Well Soci was her friend for a few days then started picking on her. Josh and the guys came home from work a week ago and noticed Susie had been kicked by Soci. We don't know how many times, but Soci has been really mean to her. Mom has been taking good care of her and we've tried to keep them away from each other by locking Susie up at night in the barn, well one of them broke the gate and Susie was continued to be beat up on. She couldn't make it anymore and she passed on today. We think she still had issues from the car accident still and then had some internal bleeding from being kicked. Josh was there and watched her pass on... We are really sad that she couldn't make it and feel terrible meanie Soci beat her up. She was a good natured horse and we fell so much in love with her, we were going to make her our own. Josh will miss riding her and I will miss brushing her and feeding her. I'm kind of sad i was going to ride her when she got all better and after i had this baby. Oh well. We love you and miss you Susie Horse!
